This past Sunday the Foothill Cycle Sunday Morning Ride did a special bike tour for Halloween, and along the way I picked up three new couches.
The first was on Franklin Ave in Hollywood:
The last two were on Orange Grove in Pasadena. The first was near Fair Oaks, and the second was near Lake Ave:

I’m currently working about a mile from my house, so I’m not roving around as much as usual.

Today on my way in to work, I spotted this couch on Sierra Bonita St in Pasadena, just north of Pasadena City College. It had a big cardboard sign on it that said “FREE”, so I guess it was hoping to get taken to a new home. I don’t know if it found a new home, but it was gone by the end of the day.

Today I went bike riding. On the way, I collected five new couches.
The first one is in El Sereno, just outside Downtown. I think the “Home for Sale” sign pointing at it made it funny:
The second was at the corner of Alexandria and 2nd St. This is the south end of Koreatown, just west of Downtown. The third and fourth couches were a two-fer just a few blocks down on 2nd St:
The last one was on Yosemite Dr in Eagle Rock. This one was a fancy one, with two individually reclining sides and the drink tray in the center:

Okay, so it’s not a supercool church pew:
It’ll have to do, I guess.
Taken near the corner of Santa Monica Blvd and Highland Ave in Hollywood.
