Well, it’s early morning now. I think this was taken around noon.

A Beverly Hills couch:

Beverly Hills Couch
Taken near the intersection of Wilshire and Robertson.

For those of you not in Los Angeles, the city of Beverly Hills normally doesn’t allow things like couches or garbage to sit on the streets for very long at all, so I was lucky to get this shot.

Today’s bike ride was from Pasadena to Toluca Lake and back, and I picked up a few new couches.

The first one is a two-fer on Glenoaks Blvd in Glendale:

There was another couch in Eagle Rock that I missed. I need to get a quick-draw holster for my camera…

Finally, there was this one in Sierra Madre:

Let’s all take a moment and give Stan a round of applause for taking up the slack while I’m high on the paint fumes in my house (and without wireless).

Yay, Stan!!!

This poor couch was seen near Pico and Robertson:

I picked up these couches last Sunday on my bike ride. We rode through Glendale and Burbank and then back over La Tuna Canyon. I saw two dead couches there, but I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to get pictures while we were riding by. But they looked like they’d been there for a long time, so I’ll be sure to have the camera out and ready the next time we ride there.

But the day was not a total loss. I found these two specimens when we got back into Pasadena. The first one is on Raymond St, just south of Old Town:

And the second one was on Villa St in Pasadena. It’s not every day you get to see couches mating:
